Youth Refugee Coalition (YRC), (a sister-organization of HEFY), provides opportunities for young adults to respond to The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints’ call to participate in the assistance of refugees around the world. YRC volunteers travel to Greece, Italy, or Jordan to provide activities and training to help refugees find meaning during this difficult time of their lives. Elder Kearon of the Seventy said, “Seasoned members of the Church who have given years of service and leadership attest to the fact that ministering to these [refugees] so immediately in need has provided the richest, most fulfilling experience in their service so far.”
Registration is now open with trips ranging between January and August. For more information on trip details, costs, FAQs, etc. visit our website: youthrefugeecoalition.org or send questions to firstname.lastname@example.org. For those who may not be as interested in a service trip, internships are available in our Salt Lake City office. We hope you will consider joining us next year as we introduce our theme of “Finding Joy in the Journey!”

If you want to hone your audition skills and do some great scene work… sign up.
All your work will be on camera and will be uploaded to my website so you can watch it, break it down on your own and learn from it.
I will work with you for the first six sessions. We’ll cover auditions in the first session. Move on to a couple monologues. Then follow up with scene work. I will edit your scenes for the seventh and final session with Vickie and Jeff, during which they will give you feedback on your work.

It’s a great opportunity to show Jeff and Vickie your work and be able to ask questions and get valuable input on not only your work but on the Utah film industry.
