This year, the ATHE Conference will be held in Boston from August 1-5. As opportunities to participate in the conference arise, they will be posted here. See important dates below:

March 30, 2018 Notification of ATHE Grant awards
May 1, 2018 Registration opens
May 15, 2018 Materials due to your Focus Group Conference Planner:
• Finalized session description for the printed program (no more than 30 words)
• Finalized session title
• Finalized listing of session participants, paper titles, and institutions for the printed program
June 4, 2018 Early Bird Registration ends
June 15, 2018 Conference registration required for all presenters

The Rookies 2018 Competition

The Rookies has officially launched and we will be taking submissions starting March 7, 2018. This is a great opportunity for your students to win paid internships, prizes and scholarships. It’s free to enter and we don’t use students work for commercial gains.

This year’s categories are: Animation, Film Production, Graphic Design, Illustration, Industrial Design, Motion Graphics, Next-Gen Gaming, Photography, Visual Effects, Virtual Reality and Web & Mobile.

7 Mar 2018 – Open for Submissions
15 May 2018 – Submissions Close
29 May 2018 – Finalists Announced
11 June 2018 – Winners Announced

Production Team Needed: Mask Club – William Shakespeare’s STAR WARS: VERILY, A NEW HOPE 2017

Daniel is gathering a production team. The following positions are available:

  • Stage Manager
  • Sound Designer/Tech
  • Prop Designer
  • Costume Designer
  • Set Designer
  • Light Designer
  • Hair/Makeup Designer

AUDITION: Mask Club – William Shakespeare’s STAR WARS: VERILY, A NEW HOPE

Come one, come all to audition for next semester’s Mask Club, William Shakespeare’s Star Wars: Verily, A New Hope. Auditions will be held on December 1st from 5 – 9pm at the HFAC room D341.

Please come prepreared with a Shakespeare monologue (history or comedy). Resumes are optional.
