The Neil Simon Festival just completed its spring tour of Driving Miss Daisy starring Clarence Gilyard and Sheree Wilson—both of the long-running TV series Walker Texas Ranger—along with Neil Simon Festival founder Richard Bugg. The tour covered six of the most renowned theatres in the U.S., finishing up at the Fox Cities Performing Arts Center in Appleton, Wisconsin and the Vern Riffe Center for the Arts in Portsmouth, Ohio. In total, more than six thousand people saw the show this season, which drew standing ovations everywhere. Next week, the summer company will arrive in Cedar City to begin rehearsal for our summer season, which opens on July 12. See www.simonfest.org for details.
